Man City: Rival-Rival Cemburu dan Iri dengan Sukses Kami
Manchester City menutup musim 2018/2019 dengan treble domestik, sebuah rekor di Inggris. Tapi sukses mereka juga mendapatkan sorotan.
City mengakhiri musim 2018/2019 dengan tiga gelar domestik, yakni Premier League, Piala Liga Inggris, dan Piala FA. Citizens jadi tim pertama di Inggris yang mengukir catatan tersebut.
Tapi sukses itu juga menarik cibiran. City dinilai menghabiskan terlalu banyak uang untuk melangkah sejauh ini, plus masih gagal di Liga Champions.
Sejak kedatangan Pep Guardiola pada 2016 hingga misim panas lalu, City menghabiskan sekitar 608 juta euro atau sekitar Rp 9,8 triliun. Jika ditotal sejak hadirnya Sheikh Mansour sebagai investor pada 2008, belanja pemain City mencapai nilai 1,66 miliar euro atau sekitar Rp 26,75 triliun.
Kritik publik menjadi kian tajam setelah munculnya laporan dugaan bahwa City melakukan penggelembungan dana sponsor. Diyakini manajemen City mendapatkan suntikan dana dari pemerintah Uni Emirat Arab untuk meningkatkan pendapatan, di mana sang pemilik merupakan sosok yang sangat berpengaruh di sana.
Terus Menanjak, City Perlu Menangi Liga Champions
Manchester city terus meningkat dalam dua musim terakhir. Kyle Walker percaya grafik menanjak itu memungkinkan City memenangi Liga Champions musim 2019/2020.
Walker bergabung City dari Tottenham Hotspur pada musim panas 2017. Di musim pertamanya, Walker membantu the Citizens memenangi gelar domestik dobel, termasuk menjuarai Premier League dengan sederet rekor seperti di antaranya poin tertinggi, kemenangan terbanyak, dan selisih gol terbanyak.
Laju oke City semakin kencang pada 2018/2019. The Citizens memenangi persaingan ketat dengan Liverpool di Premier League untuk mempertahankan gelarnya, plus menyabet dua trofi lainnya yaitu Piala FA dan Piala Liga.
Meski begitu, City kembali mentok di babak delapan besar. Yang terakhir, Walker cs — meski lebih diunggulkan — disingkirkan Tottenham Hotspur karena kalah keunggulan produktivitas gol tandang dalam agregat 4-4.
Walker percaya City akan mampu melebihi pencapaian musim lalu. Menurut Walker, City berutang pada beberapa pemainnya sendiri yang sudah mencetak prestasi besar.

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
